Plan Your Adventure on the Timpoochee Trail

Regardless of whether you want to hit the trail by yourself, take a walk as a couple, or head out on a family bike ride, the Timpoochee Trail is the place to go. It is named after the historic and influential Chief of the Euchee Indians, Timpoochee Kinnard. Today, visitors to the trail can slow down and take in everything from rare coastal dune lakes and migrating birds to modern amenities.

Spanning from Dune Allen in the west to Inlet Beach in the east, the trail covers 18.5 miles along the Gulf of Mexico and Florida’s 30A. This safe and wide trail is mostly paved but also features bridges and boardwalks. Pedal or walk your way through 13 distinct coastal communities, including Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, and Water Sound.

You can spend an hour on the trail or the whole day. No matter how you decide to enjoy the trail, you can be sure it will not disappoint. This is one of the best hidden treasures along 30A!
