What Can You See in the Village at Baytowne Wharf?
The village at Baytowne Wharf is right at the heart of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and along the edge of the Choctawhatchee Bay. This thriving marina is the perfect spot to relax after a day filled with water activities, so let’s get started and discover all the wonderful things you can do there.
The Village at Baytowne Wharf is a great spot for shopping if you want to indulge in a little retail therapy (or bring back souvenirs!). For skincare products and lovely soaps, head over to Artful Soap Co.! This family-owned shop provides great quality products that are easy to pack. Ladies, if you want to find a cute outfit, Barefoot Princess is the place to look. They have a wide selection of Lily Pulitzer apparel, jewelry, and footwear.
Baytowne Wharf has some of the best restaurants in Sandestin, so ditch the cooking and head here for dinner! Here are some of our favorite spots:
Marina Bar and Grill
If you want a fabulous dining experience overlooking the water, the Marina Bar and Grill is perfect for you. The menu features an extensive list of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and more.
Rum Runners is a local favorite at the village. Picture a retro, tropical atmosphere with pub-like food and colorful cocktails! It’s a great place to go sip a pina colada and listen to live piano shows.
Sandestin Dinner Cruises
What if you actually had dinner on the water? There are several dinner cruises available that depart from Baytowne Wharf. SunQuest Cruises offers some of the most popular trips and is and recognized as one of Destin’s best seafood restaurants!
Note: Baytowne Wharf is a popular spot, so you will want to get there early before the parking garage fills up!
Baytowne Adventure Zone
If you’re traveling with little ones, head to Adventure Zone! Let them have their fun ziplining above the village, trying out their climbing skills at the Tower Climb, and having a blast at the Arcade. The adventure zone rates work in a system of “Baytowne Bucks.” For example, a value package costs $55 and gets you 70 Baytowne bucks. Use those to enroll your kids in the various attractions.
Sunset watching from the pier
One of our favorite, most romantic things to do is to walk along the pier and watch the sun set over the water. You can even pick up a delicious ice cream along the way and give your treat the scenery it deserves.
