The Best Ways to Get from Orlando to Santa Rosa Beach
The drive from Orlando to Santa Rosa Beach takes approximately 5.5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of around 400 miles. This makes it an ideal road trip that won’t leave you stuck in the car for days. The best route is I-75 N to I-10 W, followed by US-331 S into Santa Rosa Beach.
If you want to skip the drive, you can also fly into Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) or Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP). Then, rent a car for a short and scenic drive to Santa Rosa Beach.
Please note that Orlando is in the EST time zone, and Santa Rosa Beach is in the CT time zone, making Santa Rosa Beach 1 hour behind Orlando. Please be mindful of this fact as you’re making your travel plans.
