Summer

Nothing says summer like a vacation on Florida’s Gulf Coast! The days warm up quickly, with weather that is hot, humid, and perfect for beach lovers. However, it can be rainy and sticky, so planning ahead is a must. Be sure to add several great indoor activities on your itinerary, in case of afternoon thunderstorms or if you need a break from the heat.

The summer months kick off with an average daytime high in the mid-80s °F in June. Things heat up in July and August with temps in the upper 80s °F and plenty of rain. Expect nearly 5 inches of rain per month and frequent thunderstorms.
